What Is Wild Rose Beauty Balm?
Wild Rose Beauty Balm is one of Neal’s Yard’s best selling products. It is marketed as a one-pot wonder due to it’s amazing versatility and a variety of ways in which it can be used and a 50g pot will last for an absolute age!
The picture below is a travel pot I received as a gift with another purchase but the standard size is 50g and comes in a blue jar – you can also get a 15g travel pot but only if you purchase the Award Winning Skincare Kit which also contains a White Tea Facial Mist, Beauty Sleep Concentrate and Reviving White Tea Face Mask.
It is 99% organic so already you feel like it will be good for you and the main ingredients are Wild rose seed oil, Jojoba seed oil, Starflower seed oil, Geranium flower oil, Patchouli leaf oil, Rosemary leaf oil, Beeswax.

How Can It Be Used?
A very versatile product that can be used in several ways. My favourite ways to use the product are detailed below.
7 Ways to Use Wild Rose Beauty Balm
- Moisturiser – Use on all areas prone to dry skin such as face, elbows, knees, feet. Massage well and let it soak in to leave you with soft skin.
- Face Cleanser – Massage into your skin, cover with a warm damp cloth for a few minutes and then wipe off with a warm damp cloth.
- Facial Mask – Rub onto your face and leave for 10-15 minutes then wipe off with a warm damp cloth or can be left on overnight for a more intensive treatment.
- Nail Balm – Rub into your cuticles on your fingernails and toenails to moisturise and help with strong nail growth.
- After sun treatment – Helps with relief when suffering with sunburn
- Lip Balm – Helps to moisturise dry lips
- Eyebrow Tamer – Apply a small amount to your eyebrows to help shape and control them
Pros
- Can be used for a variety of treatments detailed above but friends have also reported using it for reducing the redness caused by acne and rashes with success.
- It is absorbed quickly into the skin despite initially looking like it might be quite greasy.
Cons
- Quite expensive compared to similar products however a little really does go a long way and a jar will last for absolutely ages.
- For some reason Neal’s Yard doesn’t sell the smaller, travel size pots individually however as I mentioned before you can buy it as part of a skincare kit with three other items and this is cheaper however does tend to be out of stock quite a bit, especially at peak gift-giving times.
